With more than 50 colleges and universities within the Charlotte, metro area serving more than 200,000 students there is plenty of opportunity for higher learning across the region. From private institutions to community colleges and everything in between, there's something for everyone.

Student Union at UNC Charlotte, NC

UNC Charlotte, a branch of the University of North Carolina, has a lovely campus just 8 miles from Uptown, spanning over 1000 acres. Helen Adams Realty funds a scholarship to UNC Charlotte, which you can learn more about here.


Nestled in the heart of Myers Park, Queen's University, founded in 1857, hosts over 2000 agents. It's walkable to all of the neighborhood amenities of Myers Park.

Davidson College, north of Charlotte, boasts a great distinction in athletics. Nestled among downtown Davidson, it's an ideal place to learn.


Central Piedmont Community College is an institution with more than six campuses located throughout Mecklenburg County and has existing in the Charlotte community for over 50 years.
